Hello my name is Lucy and I am a very lucky hamster as you will see I got out of my cage one day and my family were looking for me. I could hear my little mistress crying as she hunted high and low Then her mum and brother joined the search to find where I did go. I had found a little hole on my travels in the airing cupboard floor I just could not resist the temptation to go and sniff and explore. Then I heard movements and I could smell my favourite treat As I popped my head up I could see a row of nice things to eat. My mistress's Mum had decided to lay everything down in a row How could I turn my nose up at all the things I like and really know. So I came scampering out of that hole to go and get my lovely food My mistress quickly covered me and to which I could only conclude That I was to be put back in my cage and no more under the floor She clicked the latch to quickly and just sellotaped my cage door.
